What it tests for:
This test measures Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) and Free PSA levels in the blood to evaluate prostate health and screen for potential signs of prostate enlargement, inflammation, or prostate cancer.

Why it matters:

• Total PSA: A protein produced by the prostate; elevated levels may indicate prostate inflammation, enlargement (BPH), or cancer

• Free PSA: The unbound form of PSA — when measured alongside total PSA, it helps determine the likelihood that an elevated PSA is due to benign or malignant causes

Who it’s for:
Recommended for men over 40 or those with a family history of prostate issues, urinary symptoms, or as part of a routine male health assessment.
